The spectacular commercial tower “The Opus” in Dubai is a landmark of modern architecture, designed by the late Zaha Hadid and renowned for its fluid geometry and bold structural expression. Located in the Business Bay district, this 21-story masterpiece is home to a 5-star hotel and 96 luxury apartments, standing as a testament to the fusion of innovation and aesthetics.

Precision bending for a visionary design

Realizing Hadid’s vision required expertise in complex metal forming—where Sjolund played a critical role. We supplied 12.000 unique 3D-curved aluminium profiles for the building’s double curved façade. These meticulously crafted components ensured seamless integration into the Opus’s signature free-form void, reinforcing the project’s sculptural elegance while meeting the highest standards of precision and durability.
